Tanya, Registered Veterinary Technician
With 16 years in the veterinary field, Tanya's journey began after high school when she started volunteering at the Escalon Animal Shelter. What began as a way to fill her time quickly turned into a lifelong passion for animal care.
Ironically, she was actually afraid of cats for many years after some less-than-friendly childhood encounters. Today, they're her favorite patients—and she proudly admits she has way too many cats at home!
Before joining the TVH team in April 2026, she spent her entire career in general practice. She especially enjoys the nursing aspect of veterinary medicine and providing attentive care to hospitalized patients.
Outside of work, she's a self-proclaimed homebody who loves reading, painting, puzzles, and crocheting. When she's not relaxing at home, you'll likely find her at a concert, or occasionally enjoying the beach, a hike, or exploring somewhere new.
